Laura Lee (Gamble) Warchol passed away at the age of 61 in her home in North Myrtle Beach, SC, on May 20, 2019. Laura was born on April 22, 1958 to Ronald and Martha (Sheerin) Gamble and grew up in Sudbury, MA. She graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Laura lived in Agawam, MA, and worked in retail for many years at Filene’s and Macy’s in Holyoke, MA, and volunteered at the Dakin Humane Society in Springfield, MA. She loved animals, spending time at the beach, traveling, watching movies, and playing board games with family and friends. Laura is survived by her beloved husband of 32 years, Michael Warchol; daughter Julie Warchol; brother Ronald F. Gamble Jr. and his wife Lillian (Aviles) Gamble; uncle Harland J. Sheerin, his wife Mary Jane Sheerin, and their children David and Evelyn Sheerin; Nancy Sheerin and her children James and John Sheerin; mother-in-law Marilyn Warchol; sister-in-law Michele Robert, her husband Michael Robert, and their daughter Amber Robert; as well as other extended family and friends. A celebration of her life will be held for family and friends on Wednesday, July 17 from 4:00–7:00 PM at the Agawam Funeral Home, 184 Main Street, Agawam, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dakin Humane Society. A private burial will be held in Gloucester, MA.
